Brazilian, Cuban at heart.

Roberto grew up in Brazil and fell for Cuban salsa the first time he heard timba. Today he lives in Lisbon, teaching Cuban salsa, salsa on1 and timba styling at Jazzy Dance Studios.

In class, musicality comes first: hearing the clave, feeling the tumbao and turning it into movement. No memorised steps — real dancing.
